(Environmental engineering through biomining of legacy waste)
Solid Waste Management Projects, particularly environmental engineering through biomining of legacy waste, represent a recently added business vertical for our Company. This involves the mechanical excavation of old, unsegregated solid waste from designated dumpsites, followed by segregation using trommel machines to separate the waste into soil/inert matter, recyclables, refuse-derived fuel (RDF), and residual waste. The segregated materials are also required to be processed further for recycling, reuse, or scientific disposal, in compliance with environmental norms. As part of the project requirements, we also carry out site leveling and land reclamation using the recovered inert material. Additionally, operational responsibilities include implementing dust suppression systems, managing leachate, and conducting regular environmental monitoring to ensure adherence to regulatory and safety standards.
