WELCOME TO GNI INFRASTRUCTURE LIMITED
Originally established as a partnership firm in November 1980, we are an infrastructure construction company with over four decades of experience in executing road development projects across Maharashtra. Our core expertise lies in the construction of roads, highways, airport runways and other transport-related civil works. While road infrastructure remains our core focus, we have also executed irrigation-related project in the past involving the construction of a dam and construction of overflow weir. In recent years, we have diversified into two emerging verticals: i.e. (i) the construction of administrative and institutional building; and; (ii) environmental engineering through the biomining of legacy waste, a process involving the scientific excavation, segregation, and treatment of unregulated and accumulated solid waste from old dumpsite. We undertake infrastructure works primarily on an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (“EPC”) basis. These include both fixed-sum turnkey contracts, where we are responsible for delivering the entire project end-to-end within an agreed cost, and item-rate or percentage-rate contracts, where payments are made based on the actual quantities executed.
The scope of our services under our EPC Projects includes design, detailed engineering, procurement of construction materials, deployment of plant and machinery, on-ground construction, and project execution, along with post-completion operation and maintenance as per contractual requirements.
In addition to EPC contracts, we have also executed projects under the Hybrid Annuity Model (“HAM”), which combines elements of both EPC and concession-based models. We have undertaken HAM projects through project-specific joint ventures formed for this purpose. Subsequently, under back-to-back arrangements with the respective joint venture entities, we have taken on the role of sub-contractor and executed 100% of the project scope. Although the primary contract is held by the joint venture, we carry full execution responsibility under this model.
We possess experience in executing road infrastructure projects that vary in scope and complexity, including those situated in high-traffic corridors and densely populated urban areas. Such projects often require phased construction, night-time work schedules, traffic diversion planning, and close coordination with local municipal bodies and public utilities to minimize disruption to daily movement and public services. For instance, in several projects undertaken within city limits or near airport zones, we have implemented detailed traffic management plans, ensured uninterrupted access to essential services, and adopted accelerated construction techniques to meet tight timelines. Our in-house engineering team, along with our fleet of modern construction equipment and trained personnel, enables us to manage these challenges efficiently. These capabilities position us to take on urban infrastructure assignments that demand both technical precision and operational sensitivity.
Our major clients includes government bodies and public sector organizations across infrastructure, transportation, and urban development. This includes state and national infrastructure agencies, highway and road development authorities, municipal corporations, airport authorities, irrigation departments, and project divisions funded by international institutions. In addition to government contracts, our Company also undertakes subcontracting assignments from leading infrastructure and construction companies executing road projects across Maharashtra. We also cater to private sector clients, including industrial entities and developers, delivering infrastructure solutions tailored to their specific project needs.
We are led by our Promoters, namely Bindra Ravindersingh Khushbirsingh, Harvindersingh Basantsingh Bindra and Bindra Harpreetsingh H, each bringing substantial experience in the infrastructure sector and playing an active role in the Company’s operations and strategic direction. . Bindra Ravindersingh Khushbirsingh, our Chairman and Managing Director, has over 20 years of experience in civil construction industry. Harvindersingh Basantsingh Bindra, Executive Director and CEO, brings nearly 50 years of industry experience. Harpreetsingh Harvindersingh Bindra, Whole-Time Director, has more than 15 years of experience in the sector.Their continued leadership, hands-on involvement, and long-term vision have played a pivotal role in shaping the Company’s growth and sustaining its operational momentum. Our Promoters are supported by a dedicated and experienced management team with in-depth industry knowledge and technical expertise. This team plays a vital role in identifying and pursuing market opportunities, managing projects efficiently, and ensuring timely execution.
